Charles Ament

Charles Ament (Head Coach)

I am entering my 14th year of coaching and 4th year as the Head Basketball Coach at Langham Creek.  In 1997, I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.  While attending Sam Houston State University, I met my wife, Melissa.  We have two children, Kylie and Caden.  The Langham Creek Basketball Program allows me to use the game of basketball to teach and prepare student-athletes for life outside of basketball.  Every day is unique, and the challenges of the competition and preparation for practices and games are the things that I enjoy most about coaching at Langham Creek.

Alex Denson

Alex Denson (Assistant Varsity/Jr. Varsity coach)

Coach Denson begins his 5th year with the Lobos as the Assistant Varsity and Jr. Varsity basketball coach. Before coming to Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, he coached and taught in Georgetown ISD for 3 years.  A native of Brownsville, Tx, Coach Denson attended and played for hall of fame coach/father, Don Denson, at Hanna High School.  He is a graduate of McMurry University, were he earned All-American honors playing basketball for Coach Ron Holmes and the Indians.  He graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and has earned a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University.  Coach Denson looks forward to another exciting year of Lobo Basketball and working with this great group of young men.  I love this quote, "There are really only two plays: Romeo and Juliet, and put the darn ball in the basket." -- Abe Lemons
